God is Faithful
Surely now , God is faithful
His presence remains where you are
He is here among the hurts of your heart
Healing wounds into testimony scars
He hears as you speak of your fears
He will bring peace within your spirit
And His strength is now yours to hold near
Surely now, God is faithful
He sees your broken, shattered heart
Discarded and unwanted by others
But treasured by Him from the start
Surely now , God is faithful
Through your pain He will perform His will
He says all things have a purpose
May you allow His glory to be revealed
Surely now , God is faithful
Your sins He forgives when confessed
He is loving and patient with His justice
Longing for all to repent
Surely now , God is faithful
As promised, He protects and provides
When to others you just aren’t worth it
Remember, it was for you Jesus died
Surely now , God is faithful
He never changes – the Great I am
So when you sit in the darkness of your now
Remember, you’re safe in the palm of His hand.
